My Dear Sir

One of our most successful Teachers, a gentleman of much ability who has attended several of the schools at the University, by the increase of schools and the scarcity of money finds his means insufficient for the support of his family.

He came to me yesterday and expressed a desire to secure the position of Superintendent of Schools in our establishment, proposing to visit each one of the several schools and giving an hour or more to it, teaching and helping the teacher &c - I was gratified to find a man of his position willing to aid in the work - But
