so I wrote him only about ten days before my return Oct 1st. He took no steps toward notifying them until I came and took the matter into my own hands asking him to vacate before this time for the sake of the school. Today I heard they had appointed a committee to find a room, and would vacate as soon as they succeeded. Thus the matters stands. I can see no remedy, but perhaps you can. It is really too bad, we can not have the rooms we need, when there is really plenty of room, and we cannot feel really settled until we have this room. And I do not suppose we will be very expeditious about finding another place. I am sorry trouble you.

Yours truly
M.E. Stratton
