My dear Sir,
I am pleased to state my safe arrival at W.P. but I am more pleased to proceed at once to state as briefly as possible the complexion of affairs at W.P as well as at Eltham. I thought it more advisable to come directly from Richmond to this place and I did accordingly; & on my arrival I found Miss Kelly awaiting instructions as regards school matters, as there was no preparations made for school either here or at Eltham. I immediately gave notice of my mission here, and I was then heartily welcomed
