Dear Sir: Owing to ill health, and solicitations of my son in Louisville Ky. to spend the winter with him, I was obliged to give up the school at Waverly, I however engaged the services of a very excellent young lady, who is very acceptable to the people and Mr Hickok, who owns the farm upon which the schoolhouse is located, to come before I left she is now going on with the school.
