Dear Sir:

I received from the state Suptd at Richmond the following letter bearing date Sept. 21. "Certainly I wish you to teach again & I will endeavor to see that you have a commission & some compensation from some educational Ass'n."

Furthermore under date of
Oct. 11 he writes that 'he hopes I
have already entered upon my
school at Garysville'; that 'he
shall hear a good report of it
at the end of the month & find
it a model school when he visits it.
