My dear Friend:
I inclose herewith one dollar, to be deposited in the Savings Bank, to the credit of Nancy Taylor "Col'd" (when in Richmond I deposited in her name $15.)

The Friends Association has adopted the Pittsylvania C.H. School, in the same way as the other schools of South Western Virginia — and will send a supply of Books etc. to their Teacher.

I have been very busy ever since my return home, in talking to the people, meeting committees, and gathering supplies, for the Freedmen —
