Dear Sir

Our School appropriation question lays open for a final decision, next Tuesday evening.  I have received a notice from the A. M. Association telling me to close the schools if the School Bill is not passed by that time.

To heap infamy upon disgrace I suppose they will refuse even a hearing of it a second time:  this ends
the matter at once & ever, (if they can)  A. committee
is appointed to appear before the Council, & present the claims
