we are intending to transfer a number of them, partly because we have no real organization to take proper care of them, partly in order to interest the other Societies in the schools during this year, in hopes that they will continue them after that time (which we could not do) or that they will, at any rate, do their best to establish them firmly before giving them up.

I have heard not one word from Mr. Davis since the letter, enclosing check, which you sent him - where is he?  If not yet gone to Lawrenceville, I am opposed to allowing him to on account of this want of knowledge of proper business times & his great
