usefulness here. When the school was sustained by a Philadelphia Society, it was, I presume free; but the people although they are exceedingly poor in this vicinity, seem willing to bear their part of expense, & ask me to do all I can to secure aid from some benevolent Society.

Mr Manly can give you more information respecting it. 

I am sure the people would be extremely grateful for any assistance you might render them at this time.
