A very disgraceful & unfortunate affair occurred here on Saturday. A colored woman who has for some few months past occupied the room in basement of school house here met Miss Dean on the R.R. track and beat her severely with a stick. This is the culmination of a bicker from which I have studiously held aloof, but it is so outrageous that it must not be overlooked
