Dear Sir This is to inform you that I have discontinued my school on account of not have a place for my family & self to live at the place that I rented on last year I cannot git it a Rebel has rented it and objects to my staying on the plantation on the account of my Political opinions and not in favor of Freedmen school I have tried very faithfully to git a place in the county and find it impossiable to do so and therefore leaves me entirely destitute of a home however I shall travel through some other County and see if I cannot find a home and git up another school more over I do not feel myself safte in this county there has been so many threads made against me on account of my Teaching Colord school. in conclusion I must Thank you kindley for the chartable
