Dear sir
We shall be glad if you will please order and send down immediately a small stove for about 5 or $6 for the school. There is a borrowed one in the room, but another small one is necessary.
As there is no convenient place here where I could board there are some here who request me to say that "if you would assist them they would very soon build a small house near the school for the teacher." It wd be a good thing if this could be done, especially as the school promises to be a fine one.
