I have thought it best to close my school until the first of April on account of having such a poor school this month my scholars have been carried off to the Fields for a while. I hope to be able to commence with month tomorrow if nothing happens. I hope to have a much larger school than I have had the part of this month. My school was so very very poor & I saw no prospects of any increase of scholars during the month. Therefore I considered it best for me to close at once for the remainder of the month & commence with the first of the coming month  I have also took it on myself to go around and talk to the people about sending their
