Dear Sir

Enclosed please find my report for April. Our school is getting smaller in numbers, though the interest manifested by the children that remain is truly pleasing. I will have to record a much smaller number for May as many have left since April came in. About the middle of the month some of my brightest scholars went North and left me to mourn their loss. Ethlin one of my scholars filled out the blanks in this report. For May and June my average attendance will fall below thirty. As our board will be pretty hard to make up can we not have the rent money to appropriate for
