Dear Sir
I would have sent the report sooner had I got the blanks from Richmond. However I hope it is not too late. Our school is not very large owing to replanting and needing corn. Excepting some drones the children seem to be learning nicely. A few of the parents whose children are dull are disposed to find fault with my teaching and recommend my flogging their little ones to make them advance quick. They think not as much pains is taken with them as with others who attend. We are going to have an exhibition June 25th and would be much pleased if you could be with us. The children
