at Pittsburg, Pa, and is now ready to go to work. White Hall. Fred'k Co. Va. 1s. Probable number of Pupils for day school is 40/150 2d. There is a suitable building available for school room, the size about 20 x 25. It is public property a schoolhouse built and formerly occupied by the Society of Friends in the neighborhood, and there - The Friends - are perfectly willing that it should be occupied by a school for Freedmen. 3d. It can be had rent fee, for a few spaces at least, by repairing and putting it in order- 4t. It can be repaired at a cost of about $200, and can be heated by a fireplace, or a stove as will best suit. 5t. 6s. A teacher will be required from abroad, and good arrangements can be made and relied upon for board at a cost of $4 or $5 fee each, near the school house. 7s. The local friends say that they can raise about $100 a year towards defraying the expenses of the School, and will furnish their own Books, Fuel, and Lights for day and Evening School, and take care of the School room. 8t.
