Maj.- I have the honor to report in compliance with Circular No 5. dated War Department BR.F. & A.L Washington Febry 20", 1867. 

I. I have but one Freedman School in my Div. already established, that one being near Joyners Church, and called Oberrys, but indifferently conducted having established it at their own expense.  It is an ordinary log cabin, without any comforts & poorly supplied
with books.

2. This School is conducted in the usual manner of carrying on primary English schools.
