Capt. I have the honor to make the following report 
in compliance with instructions of Circular Co. 7, dated November 18th 1867.
Sunday at Snowville Pulaski 2 teachers (white)
and 12 schools "Col'd" when opened unknown,
Day School at Jacksonville Lloyd Co. for colored
children taught by Landon Deskins "Col'd"
numbers 25 scholars opened April 1st 1868.
Day School at Big Lick Roanoke Co for colored
children taught by Andrew Jackson "Col'd" numbers
25 scholars opened May 25th 1868.
Five Secondary Schools at Salem Roanoke Co. 14
Teachers "Col d" and 125 scholars "Col'd".
Sunday School at the Narrows, Giles Co. for colored
children 3 teachers "Col'd" and 19 scholars commenced
May 31st 1868.   The other schools referred to in
former reports have closed for the summer months.
