[[uncomfortable]] room, totally unfit for a school of more than a dozzen or fifteen scholars. Many of the children were compelled to sit or stand about the door, and on the stairs leading above. A suitable room has been obtained for the school at a rent of seven dollars per month.

Application was made for the approval of the Assistant Commissioner to this arrangement; and although no reply has been received, I have thought it proper to forward the new leases with the necessary vouchers, and trust that this arrangement so necessary to the welfare of the school will meet your approval.

I have not yet visited the schools taught by Miss Morris & Thoms, but hope to do so soon.

Very Respectfully,
Your Ob't Serv't
