director and co-trustee of the Lorraine
Hansberry Literary Trust. In this capacity,
she oversees and licenses the collected and
uncollected works of the author-activist. She
is the daughter of Jewell Handy Gresham-
Nemiroff and Robert Nemiroff, and grew up
in Hansberry's Croton, NY, home following
her parents' 1967 marriage. Her career spans
40 years as a dancer, choreographer, and
