During her residence in New York Mrs. Benners died and Isaac N. Benners, her nephew, sold this property to Edw'd Richardson a colored man (who now claims to own under that title) for $10 - Richardson having been in possession over seven years under color of title & claims to have purchased in good faith cannot be ejected, and Pomonas only remedy is against Benners. the deed of Benners and Richardson bears date Sept 17 1858.

The complainant is aged and infirm and has no other property than this house and lot which are worth much more than they were before the War. I would respectfully request that this matter may have early attention and will furnish any information that may be desired.
