(a few shillings) in which case the fees are paid by the County. The County has ruled that the fees of prisoners committed by the Bureau cannot be paid by the County. I do not see that this tax should be borne by the Bureau nor any reason why a County Court should be permitted against the welfare of the community to interpose this obstacle to the administration of justice. Unless instructions have previously been given I would suggest a reference of this matter to the Dept Commander.
