I transmit herewith transportation order no 13 for Jackson Capehart 22 men, 29 women & 13 children, being the number on both lists furnished by Lt Coats. A recent circular of which you will be furnished with copies as soon as they can be printed, authorizes transportation to be furnished within the state on satisfactory evidence that the place of destination will be the permanent home of the Freedmen - In forwarding future applications please take special pains to ascertain this.
