With the information that of the 800 acres of land restored to CR Thomas by S.O. No. 74 C.S. Hd Qrs Asst. Comr. State of N.C. and which George Little claims as belonging to him, in the enclosed application. From what I can learn, and from the "extract" taken from the Deed, given by C R Thomas to Lowenburg & Bro. contained in the enclosed letter of Lowenburg & Bro. "to which attention is respectfully invited" 300 of the 800 acres rightfully belongs to C.R. Thomas or rather now to Lowenburg & Bro. The balance 500 acres to Geo Little or the heirs he represents. East of and adjoining Thomas land is two tracts described in the enclosed memorandums from the Registrar of deeds office Carteret Co. N.C. on the tract marked no. 2. Fort Macon is situated The balance of 500 acres is north of and adjoining Thomas land, and from the west end of this 500 acres, it is about 5 miles to the Devission line noted in the enclosed decission or agreement between Geo Little v.s.
