A special committee will be set-up to coordinate the activities of the Chapters with the national body and establish closer relations between Chapters. 

In the past, the national office has been handling all grievances. Instead, we will have a committee for this, which will meet regularly. All grievances will be directed to this Chairman and his committee for hearings. More about this will be announced later. Naturally all other Committee Chairmen continue to function as usual. If the necessity arises for other committees, they will be created to meet the situation. 

During the short span of our existence, exactly three years and one month, a great many things have happened. We have covered issue after issue, problem after problem, each one adding strength and power for the next encounter. (You will hear detailed reports [[strikethrough]] from Mr. Walter [[?]] and Mr. Cahn [[?]] [[/strikethrough]] on comm [[?]] activities and on the Bureau, one of the important departments of Equity shortly, so I will not go into this.) There is one matter however, that I feel it necessary to bring up. 

In the Dondero campaign of 1949, our youthful career was challenged seriously enough, to bring out our first grey hairs. As one of the art critics stated:
