Respectfully returned with the following information to wit; - "The Poor Valley farm" is rented out for the year 1866 at $100.00; The Powell "farm" for the same year rents for $300.00. The Hotel rents at $37.50 per. month. The stable rents by the month at $5.00 and the Black Smith's shop at $13.35. In a communication of the 27th Sept. addressed to your office, I gave the position of the Powells in the rebellion, as furnished by reliable pension men from Hawkins County, but as the question of granting the request of petitioners turns upon the Amnesty oath and other facts outside of their position in the rebellion, I will for forbear copying it.
