| Letter of [[strikethrough]] Maj Gen O.O. Howard [[/strikethrough]] A.P. Ketcham A.A.A.G. of 6th Dec. 1866, which says "Referring to the letter of this office of Oct 27 1866 authorizing the Asst. Comr. of N.C, to set apart a portion of the Arsenal Grounds at Fayetteville N.C. for a site for a church. & school house for Freedmen. I am directed to say that the said authority having been given this in error is hereby revoked. "-- The above with accompanying endorsements sent to Justin Hodge -- | F.P.P.
