Yours of the 5th, was handed me on yesterday by Bryan McKay freedman In reply I have to state I was in Elizabeth when he spoke to me concerning the killing of his hog. I told him to come to my place of business the next day and I would investigate the affair I also wrote a warrant but did not see him until he handed me your letter on yesterday I could not issue the warrant unless he was present to sware to the facts.
