If McTrigg, your Supt. of F. Bureau has neglected to put the indentures on his Books, it is certainly no fault of mine. - If the papers of Indentures which Mr. Sutterloh will show you, will be sufficient proof of the fact of apprenticeship.
If I am accused before you of any malversation in this business you can imagine about my general character, & make your decision accodingly.
