me and by the interference of the mother some thirty or forty dollars worth of various articles which they have taken from me, and I do hope you will find it consistent with your duty, sense of justice and propriety, to aid me in the matter, that I may make a good citizen of the boy, instead of an abandoned, profligate and vicious one, as he is rapidly becoming under the influence of his mother and stepfather or fatherinlaw - Will you be so kind as to answer me, after going to the record of the court and satisfying yourself, as to the truth of my statement, and give me your sanction to hold and keep the boy as been been agreed upon by the father?
