1942- (Sept. 5-7) Mardi Gras celebration at Tanforan. Exhibited paintings at Art and Hobby Show. Chairman of Mardi Gras Committee.
1942- (Sept.) Exhibited Students and instructors paintings at UC. Same paintings were sent to Pasadena Art Institute for exhibit. 134 paintings. Gave lectures of various titles on Art Appreciation each week at the Art School, churches and recreation halls during the four months stay in Tanforan Assembly Center.
1942- (Sept. 22) Left Tanforan for new relocation center in Topaz, Utah.
1942- (Sept. 27) Appointed as director of Topaz Art School by Dr. Laverne Bane. Adult Education.
1942- (Oct. 16-18) Art Craft Show. Purpose to exhibit art craft to the Topaz center administrators. The reason for the exhibit was 1. due to climactic conditions here there is only four months of growing season, 2. 80% of the residents are city folks and such a project at industrial art would benefit the residents.
1942- (Oct. 26) Topaz Art School officially opened.
