Dear Mr. Obata:

I wish I could tell you how everyone here appreciates the fact that you will make the paintings as we asked. I hope someday we'll be able to do something to show our gratitude.

I'm enclosing the check for the materials. Will you be able to cash it at the camp? I wasn't sure how to have it made out, but I think it will be all right made out to you.

Please send the pictures to Mike Masaoka, care of Suzuki, Apt. 5D, 545 West 111th Street, New York City. They will be framed in New York.

When you mail the pictures, can you drop a line to Mike Masaoka at Box 1721, Washington, D.C., at the same time so he'll be able to arrange for the framing right away?
Thanks for everything.
