Re: 26-1-F

Gentlemen:

MRS. NAO YAMAMOTO was born in the United States and graduated grammar school in Japan. She returned to America ad graduated from Berkeley High School in California, then completed the College of Commerce course at the University of California.

Since I have been friends with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Kinbara, since 1932, I have known her very well. When she married Mr. Shigeru Yamamoto, Mrs. Obta and I were "go-betweens" for the couple.

Her personality is very quiet and gentle, and sensitive of her Suties. Consequently she always does her best to fulfill them. She is very sincere and faithful, so that she is a true friend to those who hnow [[know]] her.

Her parents operated a laundry in Berkeley and prior to evacuation she had been managing the business problems.

Sincerely yours,

Chiura Obata
