The Chinese girl put Dorothy through two take-offs and one landing."...Which can only mean that they are still in the air...

Leading Women Will Welcome China Aviatrix

A number of prominent Salt Lake women headed by Mrs. Burton W. Musser are in charge of the program of entertainment arranged in honor of Miss Lee Ya Ching, young Chinese aviatrix, who will be a Salt Lake visitor Monday and Tuesday.

Miss Ching, who learned to fly at the Boeing school of aeronautics at Oakland, Calif., and who won membership in the Caterpillar club by bailing out from a plane and landing in San Francisco bay, is making a tour of forty American cities in behalf of war refugees of her native country. The only woman ever allowed to give public flying demonstrations in China, Miss Ching returned to her native land to assist in relief work and to engage in aviation.

Her tour of the United States to appeal for funds to assist stricken refugees in her homeland is sponsored by Colonel and Mrs. Theodore Roosevelt, Jr. Committee members in charge of local arrangements are:
