Will Welcome Chinese Flier

Outstanding Aviatrix Of Orient Due Thursday.

Three local women fliers will fly in a three-plane formation to the outskirts of Pittsburgh next Thursday morning to greet Miss Ya-Ching Lee, China's outstanding aviatrix, when she arrives for a three-day visit in Pittsburgh in behalf of China's civilian relief fund.
A procession of 25 automobiles, filled with representatives of local civic and aviation groups, will be at the airport to welcome her and escort her to downtown Pittsburgh where she will be guest of honor at a noon luncheon of the Aero Club in the Henry Hotel. Colonel Harry C. Fry, one of the highest ranking commissioned officers in the United States Air Corps, and Louise Thaden, nationally prominent flier, will speak at the luncheon.
The local committee for boycott against aggressor nations has announced that the Chinese girl flier will be available for personal appearances before local groups next Friday and Saturday mornings and has asked those interested to write to Miss New Gee Lee, 516 Grant street.
