Miss Lee Ya Ching and some of her prominent countrymen at the bridge-tea held yesterday at the Alvear Palace Hotel in aid of the Chinese Red Cross.


The Cricklewood and St. Hilda's Old Girls' Association general meeting which was to have taken place on Tuesday is postponed until Tuesday, November 21, when it will be held at the English [[text cut off]] .30 o'clock.

The N.S.S.O. Girls' Club will hold an open air dance at the Olivos Nautico Club on November 18, in aid of British Patriotic Fund and local charities. Tickets are priced at $10 and may be obtained from Miss J. Pincent 41-7226, Miss E. Thompson 73-9228, Miss S. Lacey 655-0104, Miss D. Gibson 243-0773, Miss M. Van Waveren 742-0340 and any other member of the club.
