Chocolate Sponge Pudding
 1 square unsweetened chocolate
1 cup water
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
4 tablespoons sugar
Dash of salt
1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Add chocolate to water and heat in saucepan. When chocolate is melted, beat with rotary egg-beater until blended. Combine gelatin, sugar and salt; add hot chocolate mixture and stir until gelatin is dissolved. Cool. Add evaporated milk and vanilla. Chill until cold and syrupy. Place in bowl of cracked ice or ice water and whip with rotary egg-beater until fluffy and thick like whipped cream. Turn into ring mold. Chill until firm. Unmold. Fill center with whipped cream.
