ONE WOMAN TO ANOTHER

Hello there! Several weeks ago I told you something of what the women in Russia and China are doing to help win this war. Today, I want to tell a little more of what the Chinese women are doing, and especially of Miss Lee Ya-Ching, China's foremost aviatrix. the young and attractive Miss Lee has piled up some impressive records for herself. For instance, she's the first and only Chinese member - man or woman - of American's exclusive "Caterpillar Club". She was the first Chinese woman flyer to receive the privilege of giving public demonstrations in China. She was the first and only woman student at the Boeing School of Aeronautics in Oakland, California, where earned a private flying license. And Miss Lee Ya-Ching was the first and only woman on the staff of the Shanghai Municipal Air School - and the first woman student ever granted a private license at the Crontran-Ecole D'Aviation in Geneva. I could go on and on. But from what little I've said, I'm sure you get the idea. Miss Lee Ya-Ching is one of the world's outstanding women flyers, and I am so glad she is able to be with us today, to tell us a little of the interesting and useful work she is doing.
