7 - I acquired my private pilots [[strikethrough]] certificate [[/strikethrough]] license in [[strikethrough]] the [[/strikethrough]] 1932. In 1935 I qualified for a limited commercial pilots [[strikethrough]] certificate [[/strikethrough]] license. In 1937 I received my commercial pilots certificate. [[strikethrough]] I continued to fly var I f [[/strikethrough]]

I flew various types of aircraft in different occupations such as student instructor, aerial photographer and charter work. I learned to use [[strikethrough]] & in 1939 [[/strikethrough]] instruments & fly the 'radio [[?]].' I qualified [[strikethrough]] for [[/strikethrough]] as a re-rated instructor [[strikethrough]] in 193 as [[strikethrough]] Oct 11, 1939 & completed my instrument training in both jump trainer & in a airplane & successfully passed the test Jan. 24, 1940. On June 25 1940 I passed & received a ground instructor certificate #7199-40., [[strikethrough]] With [[/strikethrough]] wich will allow me to teach Civil Air regulation. I am also quite able to handle tools & to repair airplanes & engines.
