Mr. Sigmund Janas, President
Colonial Airlines, Inc.
630 Fifth Avenue
New York, N. Y.

Dear Mr. Janas:

There has always been an above-the-average relationship between the pilots of Colonial and its management. As a result of signing the new agreement, this relationship has reached a new high. The principle reason for this lies in the company pilot management policy on Colonial established by you.

I don't know of any other air line that enjoys better relationship and one on which the pilots are so strong for their boss. They are all in there pitching and doing the best job possible. With this state of affairs, things are bound to keep moving in the right direction.

I wish to take this occasion to thank you personally and for the Association for the progressive and business-like manner in which you carried on your recent employment agreement negotiations, which has resulted in one of the best agreements in the business. This far-sighted and wise management position will, I am certain, result in an even higher pilot-company management esprit de corps, which is what it takes the most of to do a successful job of air line flying.

   With kind, personal regards,

                Sincerely yours,
                AIR LINE PILOTS ASSOCIATION
