Mr. Sigmund Janas, President
Colonial Airlines, Inc.
630 Fifth Avenue
New York, New York

Dear Mr. Janas:

On behalf of all the Pilots I want to express our appreciation to you personally for all the time and effort you spent with us during our recent contract negotiations.
Although the basic reason for our meeting was to execute a working contract, I am sure that to all of us, who represented the Pilots, a more lasting impression was gained - the expression of understanding and cooperation on the part of the Management toward our mutual problems. If only other world affairs could be conducted in a similar manner, I am more than sure that the controversies which have made so much of our news during the past year certainly could be eliminated.
If at any time you feel the Pilots as a group or individually could help you in any way toward building an expanding and more successful Colonial Airlines, I want you to know that we will consider it a privilege and will do everything in our power to assist you.
From all of us you have our sincere gratitude and our very best wishes for many most successful future years.

Very sincerely yours,
Robert B. Silver
