The subject of keeping the pilots in control in the cockpit, as it should be, has always been of prime concern to the Association and the threatened PAA Navigators' strike poignantly brings to a head the fact that the Association and its membership is going to have to take a definite stand in the near future on organization of all of the crafts and classes working on the flight deck of the airplane.

Please discuss this with your council membership at your next council meeting and point up the very obvious fact that the air line pilots must keep control of the aircraft at all times without interference from other labor organizations. This will doubtlessly be discussed in further detail at the coming Tenth Convention this fall.

Sincerely yours,

AIR LINE PILOTS ASSOCIATION
