Position: CHIEF RULES OF THE AIR AND AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL SECTION
Grade 2 - ($8,500 - $10,000 a year, Canadian funds)

Duties: To serve as Secretary of the Division on Rules of the Air and Air Trafffic [[Traffic]] Control; to supervise and conduct studies on air traffic control and rules of the air arising out of divisional meetings or otherwise; as requested, to analyze air traffic control problems and assist States in solution of these problems; to study the adaptation of national control regulations to ICAO standards and recommended practices. 

Desirable Qualifications: Responsible experience in the administration of traffic control activities with a national aviation administration, a large airline, or a military transport service. 

Position: CHIEF, METEOROLOGY SECTION
Grade 2 - ($8,500 - $10,000 a year, Canadian funds) 

Duties: To serve as Secretary of the Meteorology Division and to supervise and direct the activities of the Meteorology Section; to study and report on the technical meteorological requirements of international aeronautics; to study meteorological matters referred to the Secretariat; to maintain liaison with meteorological authorities in the States and any related international and regional organizations; to provide technical assistance on meteorological matters when requested.

Desirable Qualifications: Technical training in meteorology; responsible technical and administrative experience in the organization and supervision of meteorological services in a civil or military organization, preferably covering meteorological services for international air routes. 

Position: CHIEF, COMMUNICATIONS SECTION
Grade 2 - ($8,500 - $10,000 a year, Canadian funds)

Duties: To serve as Secretary of the Communications and Radio Technical Division and to supervise and direct the activities of the Communications Section; to study and report on standard communications systems and procedures used in international civil aviation, radio navigational and landing aids, and general radio regulations; to study communications matters referred to the Secretariat; to maintain liaison with aviation communications authorities in the States and officials of related international and regional organizations; to provide technical assistance on communications matters when requested. 

Desirable Qualifications: Professional engineering training; broad general knowledge of the field of aeronautical communications and navigation and of equipment, procedures and operating requirements; experience in administration of technical communications activities with a major airline, national aviation department, or commercial aeronautical communications organization. 

Position: TECHNICAL OFFICER (ACCIDENT INVESTIGATION) 
Grade 3 - ($7,500 - $9,000 a year, Canadian funds) 

Duties: To serve as Secretary of the Accident Investigation Division and study matters referred to the Secretariat by that Division; to be responsible for obtaining from Contracting States summarized reports on aircraft accident investigation in order to keep up to date in the latest methods of aircraft accident investigation and be in a position to establish the best pattern for
