JET-AGE PATTERNS are created by the light and dark abstract formations which are part of the TWA terminal building at John F. Kennedy Airport in New York.


SHAPES OF THINGS TO COME can be seen in this scale model of the supersonic Concorde airliner which was photographed in Paris.  The Concorde, a joint Anglo-French project by the British Aircraft Corporation and Sud-Aviation of France, is designed for a speed of 1,400 m.p.h., fast enough to cross the Atlantic in two and one half hours.

A FINAL CHECK with the flight crew is made by a member of the ground crew prior to accelerated braking tests of the Boeing 727 on a nearby runway at Edwards Air Force Base in California.
