February 9, 1951.

Dear Flo,

We have run into difficulties with our petition. As far as I know at this time, it appears that the people sponsoring this idea have suddenly stopped it. This movement was stopped so suddenly and the information,' WHY', so meager, that I have no further details to pass on to you.

Under the circumstances I feel compelled to return your signed petition. My disappointment knows no bounds.

I cannot fully express all the appreciation I feel for your spirit and [[strikethrough]] xxxx [[/strikethrough]] cooperation. It is certainly nice to know that we can depend upon each other for help in our mutual problems.

Should I learn anything further, will pass it on to you.

Thankyou again, and with kind regards, I am,

Sincerely yours,
