We the undersigned wives of Airline Pilots, being deeply concerned about the SAFETY of our husbands, respectfully submitt to Harry S. Truman, President of the United States of America, the following petition:

1.  The immediate reestablishment of the independant Air Safety Board.

2.  More stingent ruling on loading, take-off and landing specifications based on practical requirements not theoretical.

3.  That all Airports be obliged to keep up with the changing requirements of new Transport Planes.

4.  All Airlines be required to have Shops adequate to maintain the SAFETY and EFFICIENCY of the PLANES.
