Dear Mike:

This is to confirm our conversations yesterday and particularly that I agree to represent ALPA in your petition for exemption from the "Age 60 Rule." By copy of this letter to Mr. Gramza he is informed that I agree to undertake this project at the usual and agreed rate for which I have served ALPA in the past.

As you know, I consider it very important that you begin to obtain documentary evidence of your obvious good health. Therefore, the following suggestions are offered:

1. Obtain a letter from your personal physician, Dr. S. Senior Sach, M.D. of Flushing, New York which relates his opinion of your health and qualification to hold a first class airman's certificate.

2. I recommend that you obtain an examination at the Georgetown University Medical Center because the Clinical Research Institute operated at Georgetown under sponsorship of the FAA until June of 1966 conducting a study of aging in aviation personnel. You may recall that I spoke with the Director of that project by telephone while you were with me yesterday and he agreed to conduct the examination at no charge. You should make arrangements for the examination by a letter request to:
