RESOLUTION UNANIMOUSLY PASSED AT EAL MEC MEETING, ATLANTA, GEORGIA
JANUARY 8, 1968

WHEREAS, the EAL MEC objects to the compulsory retirement of pilots upon reaching age 60 by Federal Regulation, and

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the MEC to upset this ruling through concerted effort on the part of all airline pilots; 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that this MEC appoints Captains J. Richardson of Miami and M. Gitt of JFK to attend the Executive Committee meeting of January 1968 to present a program toward ending this forced retirement; 

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the MEC's of all domestic carriers be informed of EAL MEC resolutions concerning forced retirement, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the EAT MEC formally requests that the Executive Committee proceeds in a positive manner regarding proposals of the above named individuals.
