Dear Age 60 Members:

According to our attorneys, we are now entering the crucial stage of our suit. I have just returned from six weeks in the Orient where I worked on a project for Japan Airlines. I am now back and will be concentrating all of my efforts on "Age 60" matters.

In the last ten days, I have taken two trips to Washington, D.C. to confer with counsel and other interested parties. As indicated in the newsletter, many hours of work and time are being spent on our suit, and we are now entering the final, vital stages.

We have had 55 contributors for a total amount of $4,625.00. This is far from what we set as a goal for our legal costs in this effort. There will be a great deal of Court costs involved, particularly now, and if there is a way that you can find to send an extra contribution towards this effort, it will be money well invested. This is the furthest we have come in bringing our problem to the attention of anyone since the ALPA suit of 1960. I hope also that you would see them to become supporters of our cause. You can reach me at: 305-757-3204, in Coral Gables, Florida.

Sincerely,
Truman R. Outland
