I think that sometime--um--China town is very political and I don't want to get--too much into it.

in my way of uh documenting the history of the community

and--and um doing research on the subject matter,

so, so I think that, that I could got very close to them and to friend with them and that in my conscious decision of not doing it.

You would start, that project. And how did you get connected or involved with that particular project, do you remember?

I didn't really remember how I met Wendy Lim.

Um, it just, I think we met each other because we were member of OCAW, um
[01:18:56]
and I was very active um in the organization.

At one point they wanted me to be the President, which I turned down several times and--because I have a job,

real-life and then I have my family to take care of. I--I couldn't, I work 200% of time, and so--
